Advanced Academic Programs

Cambridge International Examinations

Cambridge International Examinations is an organization that is part of the world-leading university, University of Cambridge. The Cambridge curriculum encourages students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged learners. In the Cambridge Primary Programme, students develop skills and understanding in English, maths, and science. In Cambridge Secondary 1, students further develop their skills in these core subject areas. In the Cambridge Secondary 2 and Advanced Programmes, students develop the deep understanding and thinking skills needed to be successful at the post-secondary level. Students work towards the prestigious Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma, an international curriculum and examination system that emphasizes the value of broad and balanced study. Alongside in-depth understanding of a variety of subjects, students also master a broader range of skills critical for success in university study and employment. AICE Diploma candidates have three years to complete the necessary requirements including earning 6 or more credits comprised of three content groups and complete a required course titled Global Perspectives. Students who complete the AICE curriculum and assessment program, may earn up to 45 hours of college credit and have a solid foundation for university study in the United States or abroad. Additionally, AICE Diploma recipients qualify for the maximum Florida Bright Futures tuition scholarship.
